Local Bass
#2
the ponds behind the bob rice pond i think you are referring to are good.if they aren't to weeded up. the problems with the local ponds is that ( i won't profile ) but would like too........ is that a certain demographic group fishes these ponds and keeps everything from 3" bluegill to 3 lb bass and has no clue of limits ect. this spring i fished the rose st. ponds and there was a couple who had several 8"- 12" largemouth mixed in with bluegill even goldfish. in two five gallon buckets. i tried to speak to them they didn't speak english. or at least to me.......

i called fish and game twice this year about this but still see the same behavior and same people so ????
around boise unfortunatly indian creek is dried up...black canyon res obove and below the dam are o.k.........i have done reasonably well a month ago on a family picnic at lucky peak in the jacks creek area. caught a few nice smallies.......above and below swan falls is o.k. halverson maybe? from shore with the drought its tough for bass bank fishing around boise. maybe you can find a buddy with fishing rights in a subdivision pond. i work with a fellow who has this and won't let me fish ! rats...........
