I want to thank you Flygoddess. I have the odd hobby of picking up dead things on the side of the road (within reason of course nothing stinky or nasty or anything) to use for fly tying. A couple of years ago I picked up a freshly killed muskrat to my wife's horror. I've used it a couple of times for dubbing mostly, but haven't come across a pattern that actually calls for it. Now I can show my wife this and regain some dignity, maybe [][shocked]
On a side question, do you rap the strips around the shank?
