Boise River Fishing

Hey everyone this is my first post, this year i've really started fishing a lot, before i'd fish everyonce in a while but now im really hooked. For the most part i can't get out of town to fish so my usuall spots are mcdevit, veterans, and clocktower. Haven't had much luck at the ponds catching only small fish or none at all. Were are some good places to fish in the river? One little hole i found is between Americanna bridge and that diversion dam, yesterday i was using a metalic blue and silver blue fox and i was catching a trout about every other or third cast. It was pretty fun but i wanna try and catch some of the bigger trout that i know are in the river. Were's some good spots and whats the magic lures to use?
