With all this talk I took my one of my traps with me today to SFCR and had some old bacon and droped it in. Fished for a while and came back just to see if there were any takers. When I pulled it up, I only had half a trap. Not sure what happened but I must not have got it hooked right when I put the 2 halves together[crazy]

Maybe when the water goes down I can retrieve the lost half[:p]
