even though it takes a little time some days to get out the benefits are awesome. This last week I hiked 2 miles in a rain storm to catch some brookies in the back country.[
] for a small creek like the one in your picture I use a short 6'6" 4 wt fly rod. Easier to get into than with a 9' rod. If using spinning gear think ultra light and short.
