I hadn't thought about it changing color. I know that people complain about mossy fish if you get them when the canals get drained. I wondered about that when the dry bed went out but they have plenty of whitefish to eat and don't have to resort to eating the moss.

Wonder if sweet corn makes the meat sweeter at all.
