Bucks county Fishing

I am new to bucks county and have been looking for some kid friendly spots to take my 10 year old fishing. Any and all suggestion would be greatly appreciated. We have discovered Tyler state park and Core Creek, tyler was fun, Core Creek seemed like a bust, but I also think we were in a bad spot, it is a pretty big lake and I am sure there are some good spots, we just haven't found them yet. Any one knows of any good areas in the lower bucks area, I am in upper southampton, it would be greatly appreciated.
