Catching Kokanee

"You can't catch fish where the fish aren't". Or so the saying goes. If you can find the kokes shallow you can cast or troll any standard koke fare and catch them. I usually find them shallower just as the sun starts to rise before it's high in the sky. I use a variety of lures including but not limited to kroc's, needlefish, wedding rings, cripple lures etc.
I like orange, pink, purple and green on silver or gold for color. Small rapalas can be deadly on kokes at times. But if the fish go deep so must you if you want kokes for dinner.[sly]
