the good thing about the cj area is that you aren't bound to one body of water necessarily. there are several productive bodies of water nearby. and several different fishing experiences on cj alone. from the bank most of the bank fishing areas will be packed. but if you are willing to fish away from the docks you can find an occasional school of crappie or perch about anywhere. fishing at night on the dam can be great for big trout ! jacks creek can provide an occasional whiskerfish as well. if cj is slow . it's a short commute to cove arm , i saw a couple that had some whopper blugill they caught at the boat ramp. and is good bank fishing for bass. crane falls lake is good for bass but is getting weeded up preety bad. but topwater can be very pleasant. a little further brunou sand dunes can fish well at times. and the lovelace bridge always produces a bullhead , perch, or channel.......good luck wherever you go !. as was also stated below the dam is always decent. try by the turbine discharge .......
