Oops! Forgot to ask - do trolling motors come with batteries?
I'm looking at the MinnKota 30 for the pontoon boat - (Robby has VERY good upper body strenght - Cpt Hoppes, his therapist at Walter Reed - puts him through some serious upper body work outs. You shuld see him challenge her at becch presses . . .) He'd surely be able to row back, BuT I may need a tow back upstream.
We are planning our first excursion to launch at Indian Head Just North of the Indian Head Nave Base, float down the Mattawoman Creek, into the Potomac, and southward toward Mallows Bay (where the ghost fleet is). Then either go back to the start point, or call home fro rescue . . . Can't wait.
Bass Pro Shops for the MinKota??
Also, what about fins for the tube and anchors?? Running out of $$, so I need to get it right the first time. Thanks.
