Puget Sound?

So I have to apologize for all of the non-Idaho posts lately but summer's when I actually get to do some traveling... So I'm going to the Seattle area (I don't know where exactly so I can't be too specific) for a wedding reception on my wife's side next week. I'm told we're staying within walking distance of the sound. Does anybody have any tips for something that's fun and easy to catch over there from the shore or any rivers that are especially exciting? I'd really like to catch a flounder, or a dolly varden, or a coastal cutthroat, or a squid, or a ....... As you can see I'm not too picky. I just want to catch something, preferably something I can't find in Idaho just to make it a little exotic [] Any tips would be appreciated.
