Some good news for salmon lovers!

We had our class up there that day. The gov came over and the kids said that we had just come from looking at the chinook redds on the Salmon. Kempthorne laughed and said "you mean 'beds' ". They insisted they were called redds. He chuckled again and asked the F & G to come over and correct them. They said "no, Governor, they are using the correct terminology". He shot them a look and walked away in a huff. I'll never forget that scene!! Mike
