Flies or Tackle for River near McCall

There is better fishing around McCall than that part of the Payette River. I've caught some fish there but not enough to consider it good. The best fishing around McCall is in lakes but the South Fork of the Salmon on the road to Warm Lake is an option if you want a chance at some cutthroats on big fluffy dry flies.
