I was called to identify a huge fish that a friend of mine's employees caught at C. J. Strike in 2000. It was a 7 or 8 pound Pacu. There was a fish farm that raised them, and they were a taget or folks sneaking in and fishing for them at night. I guess someone wanted them to flourish in the local waters. The good news is they die when the water temps get in the upper to mid 40's.
