Let us not forget that it was the "white man" that wiped out our run of coho salmon, and hardly a word was written about that travesty. And now, thanks totally to the Nez Perce, the run has been resurrected by the tribe. Also, I have personally watched the Shoshone tribe's fishery biologist do incredible work at Redfish Lake, trying to maintain zooplankton numbers, etc. Trying to besmirch an entire tribe by a few bad sportsmen is, indeed, racism.
