i would agree with your son. i lived in alaska for a few years the heart of ( combat ) fishing. really left a sour taste in my mouth . but it's nothing near as bad as here !! people are ignorant here. this spring i caught a stellie at the park hole and went to land my fish when i tagged and secured my fish i went back to the rock i was standing on and a guy was standing on my rock. i had tackle and my extra rod laying on the rock he was standing on.i asked him to please remove himself from the rock as i had my tackle ect. on the rock. he told me to .well you can guess..and said i don't own the river. i agreed with him but said i do own my tackle and rod that he was standing on. at which time he asked me to " pack um then ". a mellee ensued in which i was fortunate to have been the victor of . the person said he was a local ( riggins ) and told me he and his cousins have special plans for boise boys.. he must have read my plates. i fished for a bit but became worried about the after effects from the fraccus.
next weekend fishing the north fork of the clearwater i must have met one of his cousins. there were several of us fishing a hole. we were taking turns casting people caught a few fish.everything was swell until this fool came down started casting over people breaking them off. threatening to shoot people it was sickining.....
