+1 for Fuzzy. I think we had this debate about Largemouth bass too. The truth is if the DNR think that the size limit needs to be adjusted, they will adjust the size limit. Same with the # you can keep.
I remember getting yelled at as a teenager for doing a perch bomb while ice fishing Echo. The guy told me I was an A$$ and kept way too many fish, yahda yahda yahda.
Now it turns out that was the best thing for the fishery!!
Those same, "large breeding females" were in the shallows where these guys wer diving to eat little fish. And I am sure they eat baby Walleye along with the baby anything else that swims.
Get over it people!! The lake obviously isn't "struggling" as bad as you all say or these guys would not have got the fish they did get!!
