I agree with you, I don't spend all that time and money on my boat, gear and...sick days, lol, to get the little ones. Occasionally I catch a nice bow or walleye while bass fishing and it goes in the live well. I don't think any other means of angling would be any different.
That's cool that the spear fisherman spoke up and gave the other side of the story. I'd like to try it but I don't think I can afford anymore hobbies.
