Hit Cascade again on Thursday night, Friday, and Saturday morning.
Pulled in just as it was getting dark on Thursday night, hoping for perch. Caught 2 bullheads and 4 very nice perch in the last 20 minutes of light[
]. Was very excited for the next morning.
When morning came, all we could get were trout. No perch at all. The darn trout were running from 12 to 17 inches and were swallowing the bait almost every time. Couldn't keep the darn things off. We had to cut several hooks off to keep from limiting. The smaller perch, 1-4 inches were swimming past us all day. Looks like the prospects for future good years are good! Must have been 100,000's of baby perch swim past.
