Ithis will make the head go up first then fall straight back down on the head and makes the tail strips pulsate. this is a great way to catch many species. but you can also vertical fish it at the height you want and just twitch it or pop it up and let it back down like 2 or 3 inches. it can also be fished under a bobber so you can cast it where you need it and slowly reel in keeping it at the same height of your wish. use a jighead for this.
