Hello Everyone,
I was told By NDOW this year the Lake will will lowered by 20 feet by sept. In one of my fishing club meetings we were told that the lake can only drop so far then the dam can not produce electricity. At this point there will still be alot of water till in the lake. i can't remember the number of acer ft they told us. Until the lake filled back up high enough to start generating electricity no water could be released.
Lake Mead's first priority is Irrigation. Second is Electric Third is Vegas Water for drinking. And Last is us Fishermen and women :{
Also the new Intake project going on out there is in 350ft of water. If it ever gets low enough where we cant get water something else in the world will be going on where this would be the least of our worries.
Get out there and fish your butts off now. The Lake is lower and the fish are closer togehter.
