[#0000ff]In the first pic I have shown the components. You attach the 16" piece of wood between the two end pieces of 2X2 to provide something to which to attach the exterior PVC base. You only need the piece on the outside wall of the pocket...and it is inside the cover so it does not show. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Home Depot has quit carrying the "type 200" PVC in my area, but Lowes usually has a good supply of all sizes. I use the 1" for rod holder tubes. You can also get the 1/2" in the lighter stuff but I recommend the heavier for tube construction projects. Stronger and they both take the same fittings.[/#0000ff]
