We had pretty good luck up there considering the wind and weather. I got there and met Idahobigfish and a few others wednesday morning around 7am.
Counted no less than 6 boats come to the launch on both sides and turn right around after seeing the swells on the water.
Anyways, I thought we did pretty well considering the gale force winds and the 50 degree weather. Fished from about 7am-9am to the right of the boat docks and caught 3 cats and a sucker fish.
Fished on the other side of the railroad tracks to escape the wind from about 9-3pm with lunch in the middle. It slowed down (obviously) but we still pulled in a few cats.
Water calmed down a bit so we boated down about half a mile downstream and found a rad beach area and stayed there until about 9pm. Everyone hooked into some real nice cats, and one guy even caught about a 17" smallie. Here are some cell phone pics of the cats we kept...
