How much has today’s economy effected your fishing this year

It's June 17, and this is only the 3rd time I've went. Only the first real time fishing this year. The first time was cold and didn't last long, the second time I had a bit too much to drink beforehand, but this time was amazing. 5a.m. watching the sun rise and bobbers floating.
