I fished Mctucker twice last week and had different results both times. I went out Wednesday (8:30-11am) and slayed the planters with a size 10, 2x hook with a yellow rubber legged foam spider. I brought in a dozen, kept 6, and had lots of other bites and a few that came of the hook. That was on the back pond closest to the stream. Before I got to the pond, I heard another fisherman caught a good sized bass out of it. After that I went to a few other ponds and played with the bluegill for a few hours. Lots of bites on the foam spider as well.
I went out early Saturday morning (5:30-8am) before all of the free fishermen came out and had a few bites on the yellow spiders and then things went dead for the rest of the day. I ended up doing some nymphing with some success but it was nothing like Wednesday had been. When all the free fishers showed up, it didn't sound like they were having great luck on worms or powerbait either.
Good luck!
