Well I whimped out and went to CJ to catch 3 small bass and a trout. Haven't caught a crappie or seen any on the fish finder the last three trips!
The guys that went said it would be a week or two before you get over Scott Mountain in a vehicle but they made some trails through the drifts. They caught a few trout from the bank. They also saw a boat on the lake! I guess the road coming in from Cape Horn is open. Last time I went in there this early I couldn't keep the starving kokes off my line for nothing.
