Go with the smallest, lightest, least expensive non electronic motor and a quality sealed gel (&charger) large enough to get you where you want to go and back at top speed and have 40% charge left. If you will be going at very slow speeds for extended period add external PWM (maximizer,etc.) which does increase range . Electronics is the weak point which can leave you dead in the water-see Abino motor repair post.
You can still operate a non -electronics motor if the external PWM fails using the resistor speeds and it is more rugged. Electronics fail due to overload- weed or line tangle in prop and sometimes due to wicking action from humid air, drips, etc., into the electronics, especially in salt water atmosphere.
JMHO, based on decades of experience running a troll, for my area, for the type of fishing I do (mostly trolling).
