Dry flying the South Fork
#4
micheal you couldnt pick a better time to be on the south fork there should be some stoneflys going by that time i would definantly bring a good number of goldens as well as the big orange guys. i always run my flys tandem i will do a stonefly and a pmd dropper (that early i like to use pink pmd's but the greens will work good also.) i use that set up all day. i would say it is 50-50 between the two. but i have to say there is something awesome about watching a trout hover underneath a 31/2 inch fly and then explode on it.
