Fish die offs are normaly seen with in the first 30 days of ice off. that is when you get the major temp changes.

When you see fish kills you should report them as soon as posible to local athorities, news papers, and your local DNR,

you may even want to contact them early to see if they want you to retrieve one for you to turn in.
