[#0000ff]Have heard some decent reports from Huntington Harbor and from Los Alamitos. Also, lots of halibut chasers like the Long Beach harbor. Lots of protected beaches there that see some big butts coming into pretty shallow water. The key is to be able to get bait. Usually gotta make your own with a net or sabiki rig in the channels or off the pier. But...the butts will hit a lot of plastics and cranks too when they are on the chew. I have caught a few on spinners while fishing for surf perch.[/#0000ff]
