sounds like a perfect day of fishing to me !
seeing them kids
and learning a new way of fishing has to be inspiring to say the least .
with all my practice , i'm still having a little trouble with a simple roll cast , but mending a cast came second nature . i think it must have something to do with getting my arm smashed last year , some mussels work better than others .
watcha using for a fly ? i've been fliping rocks and checking along the banks for creatures to imitate , but nothing seems to work , i think there's too much cottonwood fuzz on the water for a deacent fly presentation , but that big old brown just keeps rising and gulping every so often .
i think he knows i'm there and he's just having fun teasing me ! lol !
i'm thinking of hitting the river with a few spinning lures tomorow , after i put the jeep''s interior back in . ther's more to that story . see the freshwater forum .
