Spawning Help! I tried everything!!

I’m no bass fisherman (but I am trying to be this year) but speaking from the point of science try fishing them with something that represents a threat rather them a meal. Spawning fish are very territorial and if your presentation looks like it might be trying to invade the nest the bass should strike defensively. I don’t think they feed then they are actually on the beds. Just a thought
