It absolutely blows me away that people just fish or play on docks. Its the same kind of people who play in roads.
I wish I would of took a picture of this couple who were on the dock at twin lakes both were bigger people and they were sitting on the end of dock they had there camp chairs cooler and fishing poles out needless to say the dock was pretty close to being submerged . I pulled up to it once and they didnt even move so I had to beach my boat. I told them they put the docks there so people can tie them off to it and not beach there boats on rocks. They just gave me a irritated look. So when I came back and pushed my boat out I waked dock was it wrong for me to do that yes did it make me feel better yes...
If you illegally fish off of a public dock I'm going to put my boat in on that dock no matter where your rods are. I will pause at 100 ft and tell you I'm coming in. Move it or lose it. It's a huge safety hazard to have folks playing or fishing off of a dock boats have to use. Boat taxes paid for those docks and these people sorely try my patience. I've found that trying to miss their lines just encourages bad behavior. If I set my jet where they are fishing they seem go get the idea that isn't a fishing perch.
