Joni---- but you are a very knowledgable angler ( and you do try to pass knowledge on freely- I admire that)----- many many of the new generation are not- don't get me wrong many are- but many see the ads, the pictures, the mags- all the media hype that we were never bombarded with coming up. Look at some of the fly sites and see how many buy into what a few are saying no matter what those few say- just to be part of that click. Many release every fish not knowing why they do but because someone else said so or vise versus. Everyone seems to want "it" now and do not want to put the effort in to study, read ( heaven forbid going to the libraray) and learn the big picture. If it can't be found it 2 clicks on the net then obviously it has no relevance. Again- go the xtra step and learn- if the net is one's gig look at how many studies you can get off the F&g sites.
