So whats wrong with the management of Tigers? They don't reproduce, easy to control populations and if unseen problems arise then the problem goes away in a few years. I haven't heard or read of any problems except sometimes they don't do well in some systems. I'm sure there have been scientific studies on how introduced Tigers have on existing population but wouldn't expect anything different then Browns or Brooks.
The questions is why so many people dislike Tigers but seldom have problem with other hybrids? I can understand someone not like them for personal reasons but when they use biological reasons to explain the dislike then fail to see how those reasons apply to every hybrid.
I'm not an expert on Smith and Morehouse but if Tigers were munching native cutthroat juveniles everybody would already know about.
Since you have data right at hand is there any place Tigers have had any negative impacts on existing populations? Have you called a fish hatchery about your concern with deformities?
