I have tried them, they work ok. I just don't like the price of them and when you do loose one, you loose more $. I prefer the pencil lead. If you have the right amount of lead on, you should not snag much at all. If I am bass fishing or bait fishing in a gravel river I actually prefer to use egg sinkers. I like the way they can slide and move.
