Do you know how to get there? I have the directions for both dirt and paved roads. It's a long read and to some a secret way to save time and money on gas.
So here ya go...........
From NV just before Wickenburg turn right (west) at mile marker #278, there is a stop sign and a cattle guard.
The road forks a few times, stay to the left the whole way.
Take it easy for the first 15 miles the last 15 you can go faster until you get to wayside inn (5 MPH).
Go 3 miles to the water, the last fork turn left (off the main road) Follow a path/road down to the dirt launch ramp.
If this is your first trip, get out of the truck and walk an exploratory pathway to see where & how to get to around.
OR
Keep driving to Wickenburg, go thru two round-abouts. When you get into town turn right. Drive thru Agilla to Wendon, you will see the sign to turn right. (Alamo State Park)
This road will take north to the lake and a paved launch ramp (cholla) and the dam.
There is a dirt road that will take farther north to the Wayside inn as well.
If you have a boat you really need to fish the “Jungle”. This is where the Bill Williams and Sandy rivers meet and continue upstream to flooded cottonwood trees and timber.

Don't know what the closure means on the link, will have to find out.
