I will see if a digital copy is around, may have to scan the hard copy. From late February till early July is prime bass and cat time. First light till about 9ish then they go deep. Around 4:30 pm they come back shallow, sometimes into two foot of water.
I have waded out into 3ft of water and cast to the brush a few feet away and caught fish. Catfish love worms and shrimp at Alamo.
To answer your question around 9:00 am, after two other guys claim to have lost it the night before. 2/0 circle hook and 20# braid leader w/shrimp. Funny thing was, when we cleaned the fish there were two hooks with 15# mono in her stomach.
