Okay, now this is just talk, but, about those stickers.
We have the stickers for Idaho on our pontoons because, one they are 10'6" and second, we Might use a motor.
We had the stickers visible our last visit to an Idaho lake. Steam cleaner was there and working plus a sheriff.
We were told to go ahead and launch. Mind you, we have the UT plates.
Good news is, we have been very careful and totally clean our gear for many years.
But as mentioned, there are those "uneducated" Utahans, that could have done the same thing.
And, what about a resident Idahoan that takes the family down to nice warm Lake Powell for some skiing or water toy fun. Not just fishing.
Then stows those toys and the life vests in the boat. Then the next weekend try Oregon...but he has the Idaho sticker.
All I am saying, it is JUST a sticker and money source. It is and will always be up to the people.
Education is a great start, but some people just don't learn.
