Yes FlyGoddess, I am a simple city-slicker. This was my first boat of any kind. I was able to set it up in my living room before the trip, but was tentative and nervous. I didn't want to ruin the thing. For crying out loud, Michael had to teach me how to row the thing!
However, if you handed over your bass, I could restring, set the intonation, wire in a new pick-up and set your truss rod just how you like it. I wouldn't need a manual for that. Just don't ask me to re-fret the thing. Experience is king.
I really would have felt more comfy with an instruction sheet. What am I, part of the Ikea generation?
