Michael, you mean you have not received this message from Dave?
"I was
to hear that Michael is upset with our service. We have gone out of our way to work with him. We gave him an 80.00 pair of oars to keep and use until his carbon oars came in sent him valve tools to fix his valve retention cord even offered to send him a new boat and bring the other one back so he wouldn't have to deal with re attaching the valve retention cord. He just doesn't seem to be happy no matter what we do. It been bewildering."
No, I did not receive such a message. That message looks like it was sent to you, not to me, because it refers to me in third person and is about me, not to me.
They did NOT give me an $80 pair of oars to keep and use until my carbon oars came. Instead, the truth is, they sent the wrong carbon oars, then misunderstood and sent another set of the stock aluminum oars, which were exactly what I already had. They then asked me to ship them both back, which I did. So that one is BS.
Yes, they sent me the valve tool, but I had to pay $5.00 plus shipping for it. It's not like they gave me one out of the goodness of their hearts.
They have never offered to swap out the boat, that one is a complete fabrication.
Anyway, all they need to do is send me the valve caps and strings I requested from them 2 weeks ago and to which they have not responded at all. Further, I have requested that they refund me the $200+ for the oars I ordered 5 weeks ago and they have been unable to supply.
If they will do those things I am done with them. My intention is to sell the boat and just write this whole thing off as a learning experience.
