The crappie are just as tasty as the eyes, if not more, but there is more work involved for the amount of filleting. I read my profile again just to be sure that there was no tracking me down for a witch hunt and my address is "Wherever the fish are" in Magna, UT. All I have to hope for is some respect from the anglers that I have shared some of my best memories with and I have gotten nothing but pure respect. I misinterpreted the law but I do not ravage fisheries and I release at least nine times out of ten. I don't like having to defend my good name to people for a small infraction that can be misconstrued and used against me.... especially from jealous sharks looking for some chum because they don't catch as many fish in a year as I do in single outings at times.
