The Chub to me, is staying at a fair level. As far as the size of cutts, they will eat their own, so that isn't why the size. The drought has allot to do with size however.
The Kams at Mantua were flat out planted the wrong year. That was the year it was very warm for a long time. There were non belly up so, still not sure what happened there, but water was definitely too warm being as shallow as it is.
Strawberry would have been the perfect choice, although they would have to be sterile as to not breed with the Cutts.
The ones at Idaho are a strain, no purebreds.
