It's like munching for a bite with generic bait. We've heard that the bait works but does it really get a result in the end? I think you are right that I have become skeptical to the point of misunderstanding the words of a representative that truly means to represent. However, Lorie is a sheep amongst wolves and her message will not get any result if people keep electing a self-important elitist majority. It's like throwing a lamb to the slaughter. That is why I have become lazy in my judgment. It's because those that stand for what is right are trumped by bought politicians and the special interest whiny groups that fund them. It's no excuse. I should know who is really representing me for my taxes and who is using them for personal gain but it is so much to keep track of when I work hard and just want to get home to some serenity. I will check up on the legislators and do my part. Even if the battle for what is right is a losing battle, it doesn't mean that it shouldn't be fought. Maybe the tide will turn if enough of us get our message out. All we need to do is get the facts in the heads of people enough to understand how their rights are being stomped on and then they will rise up and vote... but that is a tall order. Maybe one day we'll meet out on the water.... and tight lines to you friend!
