The valve is in two parts. the cap you remove to fill it, and than the middle section you remove to deflate it. If the middle is not on exactly straight you get a leak, no biggie it is usually fast enough if you air up the tube load it and park the truck you will notice it has lost some air. Just annoying. I like the valves on the SFC and H3 better, I believe they are Halkey valves.
