All the walleye and big catfish made it back alive. Some of them were tagged so DWR can they can track population increases and stuff as the carp are removed. I wonder if they are releasing the largemouth bass as well?
I know they are few compared to white bass or even walleye, but I'm hoping the future is bright for the largemouth population in this lake.
And why still no bounty for Carp???
I don't get it. If there was a bounty for them, I'm sure bow fishing will be the next big thing at Utah Lake.
I used to live in Portland Oregon, and the bounty for the Northern Pike Minnow in the columbia river was a great. Would be nice to have a similar program in Utah Lake for carp.
