Those old 2 stroke motors require VERY little. Oil in the lower unit is a good idea. Other than that, start it up and see how it runs. Run it at different speeds and make sure it runs well at a slower speed. Otherwise you may want to tinker with the mixture a bit. Make sure you completely run the gas out each time you put it up, and maybe mix a bit of stabilizer into the fuel each time. This will help prevent the varnish in the carb.
