Using boat drift sock on float tube
#21
"I would be flying and 9 times out of 10, .....the wrong direction."

[cool][#0000ff]Murphy (Murphy's Law) was probably a fisherman. Might have even been a tuber or tooner. His law, adapted to our sport, might go: "The wind is always blowing in exactly the opposite direction you want it to blow."[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Maybe he was a weatherman. I have noticed that whenever I plan a trip based on projected wind direction and wind speed it is almost always just exactly the opposite when I show up for the fishing.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I can't begin to remember all the days when I kicked into the wind to get to a favorite fishing spot and then had to kick back into the wind to get back to my vehicle after the wind changed. It could have been just the opposite...free ride both directions...but NOOOOOO. That would not be normal...whatever normal is.[/#0000ff]
