I am having a heck of a time getting out and going fishing. I really enjoy fishing, and have a pretty good amount of time to get out, I am just not going. And when I do go I always seem to go back to the same places. I know of a few places relatively close to me that I can consistently catch fish and that is where I always end up.
My main question is how do you guys/gals decide on new water to fish? I am not big into ice fishing, so I end up on the South Fork above heise 90% of the time. I am pretty sure I could drive to my holes with a blindfold on, I have been there so many times.
I guess I just need to step up and go somewhere else. I am just looking for some insight on choosing new water. Not looking for specifics necessarily, just how you get motivated to try some new areas.
