Best method on catching panfish from shore

For panfish such as bluegill and perch, I would try a plug or lure that floats. Small Hula Poppers work good as do a lot of plugs like the small Rapala deep runners. I personally like the Hula Popper. Just cast it in fairly close to the bank and jig and dance it around. If you are after crappie, I always like using jigs. I have a black leadhead with yellow feathers that has been tearing them up for years. I also have an old rooster tail (nothing special) that has brought in many a fish of all species. I just cast it out and retrieve at a slow to moderate rate. God Bless and happy fishing. Dave [fishin]
